Five Amazing Photographers
As a photographer you get inspired by your surroundings. We also find inspiration through other photographers. I have chosen five photographers whom body of work caught my attention and gave me an idea of the kind of photographer I want to be. These particular photographers have captured beautiful works of art that transcend your imagination. I hope you enjoy the photos that I found captivating.
This is one of my favorite photos done by Jordi Koalitic due to the feeling I get every time I look at this photo. He is an American creative photographer. I feel relaxed and ready to sit on the beach and have a drink of water. I mostly love the how creative this shoots are. You can find more of his work on instagram @jordi.koalitic.
Carrie Mae Weems was first introduce to be by another student I go to school with. She is an black Afriacn-American Artist. Her main focus is contemporary art. I just love realistic and at home this photo feels. You have a little girl standing on the right side towards the back of the main subject with a glass of whiskey. Her style of photography is captivating. Her work can be found on her website carriemaeweems.net.
Mikael Chukwuma Owunna photography reminds me of the fact we are one with the cosmos. He is an African-American photographer. When I look at his photos I see galaxies being formed in each work of art. You can find his work on instagram @mikaelowunna.
Alessadro Sigismondi inspired my love for yoga Photography. He is an Italian Photographer. The photos he has captured are of individuals practicing yoga and it is beautiful. He took this picture with the sun right in the middle of the woman, on the beach. It demonstrates balance. You can find more of his work on instagram @sigismondiphotography.
Mario Sorrenti has some very remarkable bodies of work. He is an American photographer. This particular photo that I took form his collection inspired innocents and vulnerability. The woman is naked and crouched over preparing to write something on the ground. Makes me feel sad and loneliness. You can find more of his work on instagram @mario_sorrenti.
Leigh Hayward is an amazing wedding photographer. I chose this photo because I would also love to shoot at weddings. One of my first shoots was at a wedding. I enjoy capturing special moments and when I look at Hayward’s body of work I can tell she enjoys it.
